Student Support Associate

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Newbern is accepting applications for a part-time Student Support Associate.

GENERAL DUTIES: He/she will be responsible for assisting with duties related to Students Services and the Business Office.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

Assist students with enrollment process including but not limited to enrollment application, completing FAFSA, and processing exit paperwork
Assist Financial Aid Department with Return to Title IV calculations and Verifications
Proctor HESI Test
Greet and provide information to potential students and customers in person, by telephone, and electronically.
Review student accounts, receive payments, electronically file/scan student paperwork using Banner Applications
Maintain Bookstore Inventory
Provide campus tours

Required Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED required; Technical Diploma in related field preferred. Two (2) years of office work experience required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Possess organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks as required.  Experience using QuickBooks and Banner a plus.
